Setting New Directions for Digital Dentistry!
In recent times, the dental field has been witnessing a transition not only from analog to digital methods but also towards new digital approaches that go beyond conventional digital practices.
Amidst the fervent development efforts across the industry for the evolution of digital treatments, DIO, a pioneering company in digital dentistry, took a significant step ahead. They became the first implant company in the country to develop 'DIO ECO CAD', gaining substantial attention within the dental community.
On the 26th of last month, DIO held the inaugural 'DIO ECO CAD SEMINAR 2023' at their main office in Centum, Busan. During this event, they presented the core technology of digital workflow, 'DIO ECO CAD', which showcased a new paradigm for digital prosthetic treatments.
This seminar, the first of its kind after the release of 'DIO ECO CAD', garnered immense interest right from its announcement. It received early registrations and filled the lecture hall with attendees from Busan, Ulsan, and the Gyeongnam region.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Jae-seok Kang, a specialist in dental prosthetics from Mokpo Yeodam Dental Hospital, began by highlighting the importance of software in the current dental market. He introduced 'DIO ECO CAD', a solution developed by DIO independently, which has captured the attention of the dental industry. This set the tone for the seminar.
The seminar proceeded to cover various clinical cases of 'DIO ECO CAD', which acts as a bridge in prosthetic creation, including ▲model-less natural tooth restoration ▲temporary tooth prosthetics using virtual preps ▲model-less inlay fabrication ▲implant prosthetics using various scan bodies and prefabricated abutments, and even introduced 'Cementless Prosthetics' cases, all of which captivated the audience.
Of special interest was the presentation on 'Cementless Prosthetics System', focusing on 'Cementless Prosthetics' designed using 'DIO ECO CAD', and the workflow that extends to Cementless prosthetics using the 3D printer 'DIO PROBO Z'. This unveiling of a new evolution in digital prosthetic treatment generated high satisfaction among attendees.
The participants were impressed by the efficiency of 'DIO ECO CAD', allowing easy, rapid, and precise prosthetic design. Following the conclusion of the lectures, there was a surge of requests for consultations about DIO's digital solutions, including 'DIO ECO CAD', DIOnavi, the 3D printer 'DIO PROBO Z', and Cementless prosthetics.
Kang-jun Choi, Head of the DIO Dental Solutions Service Division, who oversaw the planning of the seminar, expressed, "This seminar provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the versatility and exceptional technological prowess of 'DIO ECO CAD', enhancing users' trust. Moving forward, we will continue to focus on relentless research and development to further improve the completeness of 'DIO ECO CAD'."
