During the initial procedure, after connecting the base abutment to the fixture, only the upper components such as the healing cap and scanbody are replaced without separating them to prevent bacterial infection due to secondary surgery and to continuously maintain the recovered soft tissue. Also with various base abutment diameters such as ⌀4.2, ⌀4.8, ⌀5.5, and ⌀6.5, it can be used for various cases according to the applied tooth formula, such as anterior and posterior teeth. In particular, it is possible to manufacture prostheses even in cases with a vertical diameter as low as 5mm.
Above all, it is the most economical prosthetic system that can give satisfaction to the operator at a lower material cost than custom abutments and general ready-made abutments.
Direct crown method using ‘Multiunit Abutment’
Direct crown method using Multiunit Abutment is a cementless prosthetic system that solves the residual cement problem by directly fastening zirconia prosthesis to the abutment with a dedicated screw without using a cylinder.
It is a round-type dedicated screw that distributes the stress applied to zirconia prostheses to prevent fractures and cracks to secure stability, and it is possible to produce aesthetic prosthetics by creating screw holes at desired locations with maximum 45° angle compensation.
In addition, if the crown is longer than the adjacent tooth, it is possible to apply gum and Healing Abutment and Temporary. It is possible to reduce material cost by not using a cylinder, so the cost is reasonable compared to custom abutments.
